Does the title of this blog post sound appealing to you? It would do if it meant that you were to get £50 from your cheap car insurance company but unfortunately that is not what it is referring to. Instead, that is exactly how much you are going to be expected to pay extra as a result of the dishonest drivers out there. We all knew that the increasing number of fraudulent claims would eventually put premiums up but when you realise just how much the increase will be it suddenly makes it real.
As an honest driver there is very little you can actually do to prevent the extra £50 being added to your premiums but you can make sure that you keep your own premiums down by being responsible on the road and building up a little no claims bonus. In addition, you can also compare quotes to keep your premiums as low as possible when renewal time rolls around.
