Kymco launch new 50cc scooter
November 10th, 2009
Over the past two years, the future of two stroke engines has been uncertain, with the new Euro 3 emissions regulations looming on the horizon(they are to take effect in 2012) the future of two stroke engines was looking rather grim. However, thanks to new technological advances in regard to two stroke engines, the new emission regulations have been eased, opening up a way for KYMCO to introduce a new two stroke 50cc scooter.
Bike Insurance from The Bike Insurer The new 50cc scooter is a brother to the Super 8 four stroke scooters which is in high demand. The Super 8 two stroke has an advanced exhaust recirculation system which helps it to comply with Europe’s green emission standards. The two stroke Super 8 has the same specs as the its four stroke brother, and also has impressive sporty features. Features such as twin tinted halogen headlights, alloy spoke wheels, and a tinted sports screen work together to make this two stroke scooter a scooter with a street bike attitude. Scooters such as the Super 8 two stroke 50cc scooter, show that as emissions standards tighten through out Europe, scientist and engineers are rising up to meet the challenges of a world gone green. This is not just good for scooter producers like KYMCO, but is good for us all as we adjust to living in a postmodern, environmentally conscious society.
