Yamaha R1 wins MCN Bike of the year

The Yamaha YZF-R1 was voted MCN Bike of the Year by a group of judges that was headed by the editor of MCN, Marc Potter.

Norton Wins Britain’s Got Biking Talent Award

Tony Haywood was awarded the Britain’s Got Biking Talent award with his restored motorcycle, a Norton NRS that was restored over a four-year period. The award was presented to Tony by Darren Gough, an English cricket legend at the Carole Nash International Motorcycle and Scooter Show.

Department of Transport licence changes

The Department of Transport has recently released proposals on how to improve the riding skills and safety of new motorbike riders, people who drive lorries and buses and new drivers who want to pull medium sized trailers.
